Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter (born March 26th, 1991) more popularly known as her stage name Ari Lennox is an American artist and songwriter hailing of Washington, D.C. She is the first female artist signed to J. Cole's record label Dreamville Records. Her first single was released from the label on October 21st of 2016 with the title Pho. It was then that she was able to begin gaining attention. Her debut album Shea Butter Baby was released on May 7 2019. Ari Lennox began uploading her tracks to the Internet in 2012, after which she debuted her first mixtape, Five Finger Discount, and her debut EP Ariography in 2013. Ari Lennox continued to upload her songs online throughout 2014 and released her own single Bound.
